Minnesota, USA – Burscough, UK, September 19th, 2023, BoneFoam and Care Surgical have announced the launch of BoneFoam patient positioning solutions in the UK, marking the first ever sales development of BoneFoam’s portfolio in the UK. BoneFoam, founded in the early 2000s, has become recognized in the U.S. as an industry leader in Orthopaedics and Spine specialising in standardising patient positioning on a procedure level. Its portfolio focuses on optimizing safety, efficiency, cost, and operative technique, and serves over 7,500 hospitals and surgery centers in the U.S. Having recently received its UK CA Mark, BoneFoam has an aggressive strategy in place to align with global strategic partners around a collective vision for advancing patient positioning standards in their geography, resourced by the model it has validated in the U.S.

“Our goal is to identify trusted partners such as Care Surgical whose values and call points are synergistic with ours,” said Peter Cole, Executive Vice President of BoneFoam. “When observing legacy positioning standards in the hospital setting, there are clear inefficiencies that undermine the quality of healthcare delivery. Care Surgical has distinguished itself by facilitating opportunities for training, education, and knowledge exchange amongst clinicians to promote best practices in patient positioning. Their platform as patient positioning experts in Spine is custom fit for our mission, which is focused on changing the paradigm in patient positioning.”

“Care Surgical’s overarching mission is to improve patient care in the surgical environment through education and training, awareness and standardisation of best practice in patient positioning techniques, and as such we are delighted to have partnered with Bonefoam to bring their portfolio to the UK market.”, said Chris Green, Head of UK Sales. “As partners, Bonefoam share our passion for elevating the standards of patient care by providing efficient, cost-effective, high-quality patient-positioning solutions developed in close collaboration with clinicians, alongside our shared objective to drive knowledge exchange, training and improvement in surgical best practice.”.

“Care Surgical are excited to expand our Orthopaedic and Spinal portfolio, bringing brand new solutions to the UK market, and are looking forward to a new chapter of collaboration and knowledge sharing that will improve and expand our abilities to offer training and resources. As Care Surgical continues it’s rapid expansion, our priority is to continually ensure we are engineering, sourcing and offering the highest-quality solutions as well as, critically, the latest advancements and industry knowledge, that we may continue to position ourselves as industry-leaders and specialists in patient positioning.’.
